THURSDAY!!! ITS THE WEEKEND
well, for me at least.
My classes end on thursday sooo.. FUCK YEAH 8)
anyhow, I've got time to do another journal~ so here's another update about fwoshlife in new york cityyy 8U


DAY TRES:
So the highlight of this day was a scavenger hunt in TIMES SQUARE! Of course I invited my new guy-best-friend along to be in my group :'x
okay so. this scavenger hunt list has some of the most RIDICULOUS stuff ever AHha, but tha's exactly what made it so much fun XD
here are some of the crazier stuff on the list, I shit you not:
- A wrapper from a Hershey kiss eaten by a European tourist in the Hershey store. The wrapper must be accompanied by a signed note stating that persons country of origin, name, and the word for chocolate in their native tongue. (LOLWTF)
- Find someone who's birthday is on Christmas and have them sign a statement
- A male member of the team must return with "smoky eyes" make-over at Sephora and a list of the products used
- A signed agreement from someone who voted for Al Gore in the 2000 election
- Find someone who's first name is Erica and bring back her business card
yeah.... LOL lets see.. for the first one, i think we found a european eating chocolate but didn't manage to get the wrapper.. so we just bought a kiss and lied 8D The second one was TOUGH. We basically had to be freaks on the streets of times square and ask people if their birthday happened to be on Christmas LOL... Finally some guy was like, yeah my birthdays on christmas, what do you want? HAha, i don't know if he was telling the truth or just trying to get rid of us but YAY XD.. third one was FUNNY. the sephora staff was so pissed off already from having given a dozen guys from other groups smoky eyes XDD but we still managed to get a light eye-shadow on our guy wahaha.. I found the fourth one by just asking middle-aged looking men haha.. and the LAST ONE. WE NEVER GOT HAHA. freaking impossible D: It was so funny though because my group's strategy was just shouting the name "ERICA!!!" out in a crowd and looking to see if anyone turned or stopped HAHA... of course, it didn't work. 8| We ended up getting third place, but we still had fun 8)


so afterwards, i decide to go back to my boy-buddy's dorm since it turns out that he has a WII. <3 He claimed to be quite the Super Smash Brawler and I consider myself to be DECENT for a girl D: SO I challenged him >D BWAHAHA.
uh.
I got freaking owned.
LOL THIS KID'S BEAST AT FOX. NOT EVEN FUNNY 8| i mean, at least he told me that I was the best he's played against so far >D but geez, i still haven't beaten him LOL ): OH I'LL GET A VIDEO NEXT TIME.
anyhow, we talked for awhile and I had to go~ now here's when things start getting.. DIFFERENT.
We start talking on aim and we were randomly on the subject of our friendship right.. here's the gist of that convo:
boy: i'm so glad i met you! you're just like one of my friends back at home! .. I still can't believe you play video games! O_O
me: ahhaaa yeah 8D me too
boy: you know, if I was single, I'd be all over you.

OKAY STOP.
THIS IS NOT... SOMETHING TAKEN PEOPLE OR "BEST FRIENDS" USUALLY SAY RIGHT? ): FOR, IT STRUCK ME AS VERY ODD.
well, I played it off and started talking about how my current relationship wasn't working out.. I could just -feel- the distance, and how we were already like good friends..
SO. I decided that night that I would break up with him 8| (yes, that would be boy from previous journals..>__< sad...)

DAY CUATRO:
I break up with my florida-boy. ): BUT. this was by-far my least destructive and most mutual break-up so I'm actually very happy. :'D we both agreed that we were drifting naturally into becoming good friends, and that from now on he's like a big brother to me (LOL WHICH IS KINDA ODD BUT ..OKAY!) I trust him a lot as a friend and I think we're both glad for our options to be open at a new school with new people. 8)

Today was the day that.. I also discover.. most of my friends at this school are GUYS. LOL I ended up becoming friends with my guy-friend's suite-mates so now.. I'm the only girl in the group of guys. and we play rock band and video games all the time. 8| PIMPIN' AMIRITE? but no, i horribly miss having a good girlfriend that I can rant to and go shopping with haha D:

DAY CINCO:
Me and guy-buddy decide to roam China-town for the first time 8) SO FUN. lots of good food EVERYWHERE.<3
It was such a great day!~ Little did I know.. this NIGHT.. was about to turn shit around.

The "Beach Ball" was a school-sponsored dance that lasted from 9PM-1AM O_o; So I go with my guy-friend and his suite-mates~ we're all dancing and I'm being "PIMP" again and taking turns dancing with each of them all EXCEPT for my guy-friend... lol... I thought it'd be weird for him since he has a gf yaknow? >_< Night goes on and we happen to be close to eachother and so.. we start dancing. After one dance, he looks troubled and tells the group that he's going to go out for a bit. So I hang out for a few more minutes and then we all start getting worried. We decide to leave the dance, but the moment we get outside the door. There he is. NYC night-time, back facing us, sitting on the curb of the street between two parked cars and on the phone. such a SAD picture. We come closer to check on him.. and he abruptly hangs up the phone and looks up at us with RED, WET eyes. ;______; He plays it off like a champ and tells us everything's fine and even forces a smile. D: He avoids looking at me and walks in front of the whole group as we head back to the dorm.. He suddenly turns and takes a different amd longer route, telling us he's going for a walk.. I had a feeling I was involved somehow and kept asking his suite-mates if he'd be fine. They all convinced me that they'd talk to him when he came back and that he'd be strong and deal with whatever he was going through. I get back to my dorm and don't know what to do with the jacket he told me to keep for the night in case I was cold...

WHAT HAVE I DONE.

AND LIKE A SHITTY MANGA, I'LL LEAVE YOU AT THAT. 8|
actually this is getting to long again lol,
i swear i'll finish describing welcome week in the next journal.. I have so many fuckin' funny stories to tell y'all LOL <3

also, does anyone actually go to or has even HEARD of New York Anime Festival? 8|
It's 40 frickin' dollars for this weekend and I don't know if it's worth going to or not LOL
